ASUS P4C800 Deluxe(P4-3.2C+)

[Revise(May2008)]
This PC got the problem for Power Supply and Windows Boot.
Then I changed and upgraded Hard Disk 1TB and Power Supply 450W, plus 1GB RAM which I have an extra.
So I updated the pictures, parts list and HD-Bench data.

P4-3.2C IDE

[Original]
This PC is Multimedia Edit Machine with RAID0, burning 8xDVDR, watching TV, capturing Video and Video camera.
And also, it has a little unique feature, all fans are 120mm except an additional 80mm fan for Vigor 500W Power Supply(Dual fan).
I have an experience for P4C800 deluxe before, but it's not FSB800MHz. So I'm looking forward to making this.

Now in process. I got the RAID, IEEE1394 and air cooling problem. WRITE performan was OK, but the performance of READ was same as normal IDE. And IEEE1394 problem is about connection problem with camcorder. System and device recognition are OK on the system, however DV-AVI data communication was not OK. I mean there are so many drop frame was occured.
So I tried to change the system configuration, from RAID0 to normal IDE structure. Then the problem has been solved. However, I still don't know the root cause.
I will continue to pursue this problem even this project has been closed now.

In addition, I supposed to use ZALMAN FB123 and PANAFLOW 120mm fan for air cooling system, but I checked the temp and I found it's not right. It's higher than I expected. So I changed from the structure to conventional way for Thermalright SP-94 with ZALMAN 92mm fan. Then now the cooling problem was solved.

[Benchmarking] As I wrote first, RAID0 was something wrong. Write performance is middle of between normal IDE drive's and normal RAID0's, and READ performance is below even normal IDE's. I guess there is some sort of internal bus collision because of IEEE1394 problem is existed too under this RAID0 structure.
Anyway, final status with normal IDE drive is looking good. Especially, RAM performance is really good.
Finally, I decided to go with IDE, Performance/Turbo Mode, RAM timing tuned and OC3.52GHz (220MHz).
