One of the original federal routes, US 66 was established on November 11, 1926.
It originally ran from Chicago to California, for a total of 2,448 miles (3,940 km).
US 66 was officially decommissioned on June 27, 1985.
Portions of the road have been designated a National Scenic Byway of the name "Historic Route 66".
Anyway, my son loves movie "Cars." Then I want take him to "Real World," not by animated cartoon.
And we visited Angel's Barbarshop where is introduced by "Cars" and owened by Angel Delgadillo.
My son is excited at seeing & talking him on-sight.
